This is a union shop that offers pay up to $41.

Shift work is required.
Responsibilities:
Inspect, repair and/or replace items such as instruments, valves, disconnects, transmitters, and other electrical or electronic equipment in the field and the control rooms.
Perform routine maintenance on instrumentation, electric equipment and related devices in the plant.
Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, refurbish and reassemble electric/electronic equipment such as automatic valves, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wire, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and alarm systems.
Program, troubleshoot and repair the DCS system.
Update drawings, schematics and blueprints as needed; maintain appropriate records and documentation.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree or certificate in instrumentation, electronics or a related field of study is strongly preferred; NCCER or equivalent certification is a strong plus.
At least three to five years of experience as an I&E Technician is required for the higher level classification; work as a chemical operator may count for some of this experience.
Candidates who have an associate degree in a relevant field of study, with little or no experience, may be considered for an entry-level position.
Familiarity with DCS systems, PLCs and process control fundamentals is required; experience with the Delta V control system would be a significant advantage.
Basic computer literacy and the ability to use Microsoft Office products are expected.
The ability to successfully complete a battery of pre-employment tests is required.
Willingness to work in environments for prolonged periods that are hot, dusty, noisy and that require the use of PPE is required; the ability to bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and lift up to 20 lbs is also necessary.
